Dr. Emeka Iroha came to America exactly two years after his father’s death and a year after high school with one-hundred dollars in his pocket. His first job was washing dishes at Denny’s while attending Northwood Institute at Cedar Hill Texas. He dropped out after one semester due to lack of funds. Several other odd jobs followed, including driving a taxi.
He was married and had a son at a young age, then joined the US army as a Combat Medic. Afterward, he returned to school at Terrant Country Junior College, where he was on the deans’s list a few times. He then transferred to the University of Texas at Arlington, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics, Biochemistry, and Biology.
He was teaching middle school mathematics, and soon after enrolled in a PH.D program. He obtained a Master’s of Science in Molecular Genetics before entering medical school. Dr. Iroha did his residency at the University of Nevada Reno. While in residency, he joined the US Air Force as a Captain and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He trained as a flight surgeon at Wring Paterson Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio. He has since been practicing in Las Vegas since 2007 as a hospitalist and recently purchased a Medical Group dedicated to providing exceptional, comprehensive family care to the diverse members of the Las Vegas community. Our focus in on developing exclusive rapports with out patients in order to provide a personalized approach for medical treatment, guidance, and care.
Dr. Robert Kaplan is a Family Medicine Doctor in Las Vegas, Nevada and has been practicing for 45 years. He graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine Midwestern University in 1973 and is affiliated with Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

John Richards is a seasoned Business Consultant who has spent the last 20 years serving as chief executive officer and chief operating officer in a variety of industries including health care, financial services, management services organization, real estate, hotel and restaurant management, supply warehouse and maintenance. With over 25 years of progressively responsible experience, John has directed as many as 1,500 employees in companies with revenues in excess of $50 million. He has led these companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes.His understanding of both domestic and international distribution channels encompasses retail sales, wholesale, OEM, Human Resources, direct sales, leasing and government markets. Previously, John served as Executive Business Consultant to A Las Vegas Medical Group. Other significant positions include Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Procyon Management Group, a Nevada-based MSA, and European Regional Director of NAF European Headquarters Community Operations Division. John also served under Major General (Dr.) Vernon Chong, Command Surgeon for Headquarters U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany, who advised the Commander-In-Chief on all medical matters and health issues that may affect the readiness of military forces in the command. He was responsible for establishing policies for the employment of theater medical resources during crisis, contingency and humanitarian relief operations. John holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Dublin University.
Rhia Dizon, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Angeles University Foundation in the Philippines, and her master’s degree from South University in Savannah, Georgia. Her foundation of nursing career was mainly with adult and geriatric patient population. Her experiences as a registered nurse for more than 10 years were working as a charge nurse in skilled nursing in-patient facility and as an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse in a long-term acute care hospital. By taking care of critically ill patients, as a nurse practitioner, she believed that
preventative care is one of the important keys to achieve better patient health and that identifying and prioritizing individual needs of patients are important. Her goal is to improve patient-centered care within primary care setting by applying current quality standards and health promotion of commonly occurring health problems in adult and geriatric population.
Rhia, speaks Tagalog, Kapampangan, and English fluently. She is a proud wife and mom. She enjoys cooking, hiking and traveling with her family.
Sneha Thomas, MSN, AGNP is a board-certified adult and gerontology nurse practitioner. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Oxford school of nursing in India and her master’s degree from Walden University, Minnesota.
Sneha has passionately served in varied roles in the Healthcare Industry. She was an educator early on in her career and she has worked in the areas of women’s health, psychiatry, geriatrics and primary care. In the past 13 years, she has been a working in Las Vegas and has continuously striven to provide excellent patient care. Sneha like to take a holistic approach to treating the patients while considering the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and environmental needs of the patients to provide the best treatment plan.
Sneha speaks English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages fluently from her experiences in treating patients in India and providing care to different populations.
Meia Ford holds patient centered care at the top of her values. She received her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Touro University of Nevada. As an Army Veteran she started her career in Critical Care on a Stroke Certified floor in Texas. Meia then went on to work at one of the largest Cardiac Rehabilitation Critical Care Facilities Las Vegas valley and has acquired invaluable experience in various cardiac conditions. She then moved to Assistant Director of Nursing at one of Las Vegas’ Largest Home Health care facilities. While working, she chose to advance her education and received her Master’s Degree.
Meia is passionate about understanding everyone’s health needs/goals and working collaboratively with each individual to develop a plan to achieve their best possible state of health. She is doing her part to close the health disparities effecting the minority and LGBTQ populations. Meia’s diverse Korean/ Hawaiian/ Philippine background gives her the tools she needs to best treat our multicultural patient population. She enjoys travel, cooking and playing bass guitar in her leisure time.
abiola Vallejos was born in Sleepy Hallow, New York. At the age of nice she moved to Lima, Peru where I went to school for three years to learned about my culture and how to speak and Write in Spanish. Fabiola, moved to Las Vegas at the age of twelve. She attended and graduated Rancho High School and went on to continue her education at Pima Medical Institute majoring in the medical field. She continues to be captivated by the human body, and by our by the bodies ability as individuals to learn. Fabiola’s position with A-P Medical Group is a big stepping stone in her career, and we couldn’t be proud and more willing to support her career path.
Pham (Bob) Dieu was born and raised in Vietnam, and relocated to the United States with his Family. Today, he is a proud Citizen currently holding a Bachelors degree in accounting, and is pursuing an advanced degree in finance. Bob works side by side with our CPA, and is Quick Books Certified. He is a valuable team member, and we can’t express enough how lucky we are to have Bob in the office when he is not busy in his other role as a supervisor at the Venetian Hotel, Resort and Casino. Bob’s is a sucker for horror movies. He also enjoys watching soccer, traveling, and learning new cultures. He speaks Vietnamese, Chinese, and English.
Lovella Marquez was born and raised in the Philippines. She is fluent in Tagalog, Ilocano, and English. Lovella is an asset to A-P medical, and is extremely helpful when best representing the needs of her Philippine community. Lovella started her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant but has since become a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant. Lovella graduated from the Pima Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has worked in pediatrics for nine years, and is very deserving of the position she holds as back office lead. She ensures on a daily basis that all of our patients are not only happy- but safe, and well cared for. Today, Lovella is happy to be in primary care with adults, and assisting her providers in all aspects of our medical aesthetic procedures. Lovella also holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Abra Instiutite of Science Technology, and is currently pursuing additional education in the medical field. Lovella loves cooking, and enjoys traveling the world with her friends. She loves being around her family, has quite the green thumb in the garden. She also just learned to swim last year and we cant wait to see all of the wonderful things Lovella dives into next!
Steyci Altamirano was born and raised in Managua, Nicaragua and moved to Las Vegas 8 years ago. While it was extremely difficult in the beginning, leaving much of her family and friends behind, Steyci was able to stay resilient and become a 2015 graduate of Valley High School. After High School, Steyci went on to Pima Medical Institute to begin her education, and start her career in the medical field. She continues to be captivated by the human body, and by our ability as individuals to learn. Steyci sees her position with A-P Medical as a stepping stone into big things in the field of medicine, and we couldn’t be more proud and willing to support her career path. Steyci brings so much to the table, and always strives to accomplish the most within her reach. She is always willing to expand her knowledge. In her spare time, you can find her at the gym, hanging out with her friends, or watching movies. Her dream is to travel he world and to be an inspiration to others.
